Our Mission
To provide Stepping Stones for Success through education of children and families who have limited opportunities.

Our Preschool
Providing a preschool program; tuition free, high quality, developmentally appropriate and comprehensive, to create success for children at risk of school failure due to literacy issues.

Family Literacy
To ensure family literacy and success of the parents, with their children and in the community, by requiring them to attend tuition free adult education classes, requiring parental classroom participation, and providing tuition free child care and enrichment for the siblings of our preschool students.

Community
To further ensure success by providing our preschool children with meals in partnership with the hosting school district, partnering our preschool program with colleges to assist family literacy by providing adult education, and to reach as many preschool children as possible.

Success
To reward our former preschoolers who are now high school graduates, and continue to promote family literacy, by enabling access to college through our college scholarship fund.

Program Values

Ensuring Access to Education
Our legacy past, our present, and our future are to provide equal opportunity for a preschool education to all 3 and 4 year old children, and support family literacy through adult education, regardless of economic status.

Volunteerism
Our inspired community volunteers, who participate through foundation membership, fund raising activities or in the preschool classroom, are vital to the success and welfare of the foundation's preschool children.

Parental Involvement
Our requirement that parents of our preschool students attend adult education and parenting skills classes, providing them with lifelong learning opportunities. Our requirement that parents volunteer in the preschool classroom and allow home visits by the teacher, underscores the importance of education and family literacy to the parents.

Children!
Our providing tuition free child care and enrichment for the siblings of the preschool students allows the parents to fulfill the participation requirements of the family literacy component, and demonstrates the importance of education to the children.

Community Partnerships
Our individual and corporate sponsored support through grants, financial aid or "in kind" donations, assures the continuing success of our preschool program. We also value all other existing high quality preschool programs that will prepare the children for school success.

We thank you for investing in our children's futures. We assure you that you will make a difference for our children, their families, and the community as a whole.
